That's in the ball park. I pumped gas in Western Pa in the mid-60's for 29.9
People would come in and ask for 10 gallons. We'd just round it up to $3.00

Are you trying to draw me into a accessory war between you and me ? I'm beginning to think your catching the accessory BUG , what year Corvette you have again?
This neat little item I use on my oil stick and PG stick , you cant even begin to understand how many neat accessories was offered in the 50 and 60's. Best ROY

...and the project 62. YOU gave me the bug some time ago, but I could NEVER compete. That's about the extent of my collection. I'm spending all my "accessory" money on 62 restoration parts.:-) I had to have the compass though. But now I have a GPS so the compass is only backup when I loose satellite reception!
I like the dipstick oil reminders. Never ever saw those before.

Rob, Congrats on your find! It'll be lots of fun finding out about your car digging all around it like a archaeologist. I'm going through that with my 62 project. Lots of interesting finds.
