    Mike------

I believe the valve was AC CV-202, GM #1552729. Below is a photo of said valve.

        Mike -

I don't have a '62 JG, but Noland's book indicates that P/N 5649561 replaced the '61-early '62 valve Joe noted on A.I.M. date 12/6/61, about the time #3600 was built.

Mike,I have a picture of a what I think is a 1960-1962 crank case vent card, the same one that is Noland Adams book, but it doesn't have a part number on it.Looks very close to the one posted. As I understand this card was to hang off the mirrow.

                    Joe,

                    Hmmm.

                    It's "that" valve, isn't it?

Yes, that's the one. Actually, this is one of the examples I more recently acquired. The original example I acquired has a zinc plated finish. I believe the actual PRODUCTION valve was black oxide, like the one I posted a photo of.

Hmmm, Joe, I was going to suggest a dehumidifier for the wine cellar, but now it looks like the corrosion didn't happen on your watch.
