I suspect that a water leak was the reason Bubba sealed it up that way , but because it has almost always been in Arizona I guess it dried faster than it could rust ! Except for some minor surface rust it was in really good shape.
Ofcourse the down side of Arizona cars is dry rotted gaskets. So after a minor sanding and repaint I made all new ones myself and I am getting ready to reinstal them . Then its off to storage and onto the next step.
