Thanks, Bob. Maybe that is what he was "trying" to say but he did differentiate between '53/early '54 and late '54. Anyway, since I don't have the elbow I will go ahead and order the set with it.

All 53 and 54 had an elbow. NOTE: Check the elbow for proper size. Everytime I get one, I have to have a larger one made to properly fit the hoses. The hoses slide over it and it looks big enough, but it's not. The elbow is always too small in diameter. Then, the correct hose clamp will not seal and it WILL leak.

I went to a muffler shop and had some new ones made. I am currently out. Also, install the lower hose on the radiator before you put the radiator into the support (make sure it's tight!). Manipulate it underneath the front sway bar, then attach the other hoses.

Thanks for the tips, Brett. I assume you are talking about the elbows from Grossmueller's that are too small. Has anybody told them about the problem?
