If original configuration is your primary goal, I'd suggest using your existing radiator and having it re-cored. That will give you an as-new radiator which will be close to the original in overall configuration. If you don't have an existing original-type radiator, find a used original and have it re-cored.
If you are after the best cooling performance and original configuration is secondary, purchase a Griffin aluminum replacement designed for 66-68 Corvette big block applications (except L-88). This will be a direct fit radiator and will require no other modifications. These are available from DeWitts.
