Wire harness tape

How is the non-adhesive wire harness tape installed and terminated without unravelling? Thanks

I do a loose last wrap and bring the tape under the last and through the wrap. I then draw the tape tight. After that i cut the tape 1/4 " and thats it. I have had a couple of cars judged with no problems.

For cars prior to 1969 model year, make sure you use 1 inch wide tape, the change to 1.3 inch tape was the 1969 model year.
