67 sidepipes

The black book shows option as N14. Does anyone know if these are still available from GM or if they are repro'd and or what the correct part #'s are.

Don,

The sidepipes are long discontinued from GM. If you want NOS then Allen's has them. Be prepared to pay $$$. Any of the usual vendors carry reproduction sidepipes and hardware; just check the catalogs. Note that the repros do not sound like originals and are very loud. Forget about listening to the radio or talking to your passenger. Also, be prepared to take a major point hit if the car is not an original sidepipe car and you have it judged.

Don, Check these guys out. They are close to original, close but not the same and not expensive compared to the Allens NOS which must be partially fabricated.

i checked these out. the head pipes are carbon steel but the chambered mufflers are aluminized resulting in a non correct sound. i finally found a set or NOS sitting since 1967.
