    C2:67 P/S Hoses-What not to do

    Found out the hard way, that you should never cross the Valve to Pump Return line with the Pump to Valve Pressure line, like this:


    Here's what it looks like on a hard right turn:


    Bending and tension on the return line and here is where it leaks on a right turn:


    Almost pulled the return line hose out from it's connector.

    Ready to shoot the mechanic who did this 3 years ago. Got a set of hoses and a C clip coming next week. I guess if you want something done right, you have to do it yourself. Will be using the AIM as my guide.

    In addition to the mis-routing, he may have cut the return hose too short. Usually, the return hoses, including the GM piece, are extra long and some must be cut off for most applications, including Corvette. So, if the guy mis-judged the amount to cut off and cut it too short, then you end up with a problem.
