Pete;I purchased the car with shoulder belts installed.I had a new Al Knoch interior added to the car and the shop didnt reinstall the shoulder belts so I can look at them and check to see if they are original&correct.You make sense in that if they are it stands to reason they came with the car at the factory (but not guaranteed).It also seems to me that if it is a plastic plug that has to be removed anybody could take it out and add belts after the fact!.I'll research this and get back to you guys.Thanks for all the responses!.Jordan
