    Re: 66 Bushings

    Kenneth------

Just about all the bushings on the market are from the same manufacturing source. The lower bushings available from sources like Dr. Rebuild or, even, GM are exactly like the originals.

The upper bushings are where differences occur. The most widely sold bushings for 63-82 Corvettes, including those available from GM, are exactly correct only for 73-82 Corvettes. There is a slight configurational difference between these bushings and the originals used for 1963-72, although they are 100% functional for all 63-82. Some suppliers do carry the original-configuration bushings, but I don't know if Dr. Rebuild carries them as of yet.

Bair's corvettes in Linesville PA has the correct original styles for the early cars, and they also do installation. (814) 683-4223
