    Camaro question

Does anyone know what block casting would be correct for 375 hp 396 in a x-10 69 Camaro?

Could be one of two, I believe. Early cars would have used 3935440 ( Through August production of 68 ) after that should be 3955272

        Andrew -

No such thing as an X-10 code - did you mean Z-10? An original big-block car would carry an X22 or X66 code if it was built after mid-December, 1968.

John, would the X code be on Norwood cars only?

              Re: Camaro question

Don't mean to butt in. The Norwood cars recieved X codes after Vin Numbers 54440 Apx. Mid Dec 68. The Van Nuys and Los Angles built cars did'nt recieve X codes at all. Thats how some of these questionable LA built cars become SS 396's or Z-28's. No X- codes.

                Paul -

Yup, Norwood cars only - should have mentioned that in my original post.
