1994 Brickyard 400 corvettes

I Recently purchased a 1994 Brickyard 400 Corvette and would like to learn more about these cars. NCM is able to identify these cars through the dealer code on the build sheet, but that is about all the info they have. Pace car registry does not have much info. Chevrolet has been no help so far. Anyone own one of these cars? Thanks, Tom

Have you checked with Indy?
There may be a chance they have info on what cars they were loaned during the month of May, 1994. Crazier things have happened.

I sold several of these cars through BUDS Chevrolet in St. Marys, Ohio after the race. I think there were 13 red ones, and 12 black ones. I know there were a couple that had the decals removed so they could be sold easier after the race. Most had the driver's names on the hood, some did not. A couple were spares and never used on the track. They were neat cars. Each car was photographed on the track with the drivers they carried. The cars I had included these photographs. I sold at least 4 of these cars. 2 went to Pennsylvania, one to the Boston area and Bob McDorman ended up with the last one I had. I might have a list of the units used at the office. Feel free to give me a call on Saturday or anytime during the week. I can get you copies of anything I may have. I also have some contacts to the people who made the decals !!
