    original '67 hood stinger pictures for comparison

    Hello;
    Getting judges comments on my stinger paint pattern not being exact enough.
    Need original pictures to prove or disprove my theory that it was painted by humans and not all exactly the same in relation to the emblem.
    Thanks in advance for all comments and help.
    Ray
    And when you get the choice to sit it out or dance
    I hope you dance

        Re: Here's another

        Hope these show up. Here is a picture of my cousins 1967 Brand New 427/435 Goodwood Green Coupe back in Nov of 1966 with me 15 years old sitting in it. The other picture is of my son 40 years later (15 years old also) sitting behind the wheel of a good friend of mine, 67 Restored 427/400 Coupe.You can see the diference in original vs restored. You absolutely sure that one is original? It is mighty wide, more so than any original that I have ever seen.

                            The old thumb trick

                            Bill, Wayne Wombles and George Claery first photo show what I think is the correct strip. The space between the end of the nose point and the end of thin stripe point should be about the width of your thumb. The nose emblem sides just reach to the thin stripe lines. Most of the stripes I see are incorrect as some of the above are. They end the main stripe where the thin stripe should have ended, so the stripe is too long. Phil 8063
