I had a guy email me in regards to a post I have looking for parts. He claims to have the parts I seek, and it's a pretty good deal. Of course he wants me to send at least half up front....

I would love to have a NCRS member help broker this deal.

Thanks to everyone who has offered help in this situation. The seller must have been a scammer...

As soon as I had a team of fellow NCRS guys willing to help me.... the seller started flaking out.

I don't really understand the mentality of this guy.... If he is indeed not a scammer... he is not anyone I would feel comfortable doing business with.

IF someone calls you from an ad you have posted looking for parts, or cars etc... be wary of a man named Mike from the Buffalo area with a NYC (917) area code....

If I knew for sure this guys WAS a scammer....I would disclose his full name, but as I don't really know, I don't feel right exposing this guy. On the same note.... If indeed someone from Buffalo named Mike calls you with this (917) area code, email me first, and I will privately disclose his name and phone # that he won't answer!
