FB 42 Oil Fill Cap

Can someone tell me where this Oil fill Cap was used? FB 42 6419440.

As far as Corvettes go, it's applicable to 1955 Corvettes, although it's replacement-only for that application, not the original part.

It's also applicable to certain 1966-67 Chevrolets without closed positive crankcase ventilation. I can't imagine that very many of those were made since closed positive crankcase ventilation was generally required nation-wide by that time. Perhaps, these involved export cars. Once again, this is not the original cap for the applications but a replacement.

There are a few other applications, too, for AMC and Cadillac.

Hi Paul, You see these FB 42 oil caps all over the flea markets. Basically they are not worth a crap for us NCRS guys though. Just an SR like Joe said. John
