    paint C-3 original

Ok here is my problem, I'm real close to going into the paint shop for a on frame resto.
My problem is the more i look at Cordovan Maroon the more I become ill.
how many points is not orginal color deduct
and how many for not original paint
See I really want a color more in the rich Maroon style
What is the right thing to do........
    Thanks

It's your car, but here goes. Since you said the "P" word. ( Points ) I would keep it the original color. Just my opinion. Happy Holidays !

You're the one who needs to decide what you want to do with the car. Points--then don't vary from the original. Personal esthetics, then do what likes right to you.
Concerned about what people say? Show and shine places, people will like it. NCRS-type events? People won't!
Think it through before you make your decision, because the decision has many implications, and unless you're better off financially than many of us, you're stuck with your decision for a long time.
        Good luck.

I know to well, Thats why I'm asking here.
I know that painting back to the trim tag is the real only option at this point.
And I knew from the start what her skin was.
Kept telling my self its not that bad! its not that bad,...........
any tricks with that paint color,.... to bring out the red and orange out more than the normal and kinda get away with it,
or is the paint by chips alone,

Oh and who has the chips, is it National?
            Thanks
