    C-2 fuel gauge sender

I looked in the archives and did not find this. How is the black fuel strainer on the bottom of a 67 C-2 pick up pipe removed? It has a split in it. Thank you in advance. Dale

    Dale,

I changed one on my 63 some time age and remember just twisting it off and reverse for installation of the new strainer.

        Dale,

It is just a friction fit. The old one may be a little difficult to pull off, so you may need to use some penetrant.

Thank you all, I will put some "good ole" MALTBY penetrating oil on it. It is so good you can spray some on the ground, stand on it and in 3 minutes you can taste it. Dale
