    1963 VIN Verification

    I have the "1953-1967 Corvette Specificatins Guide", Volume One by John Amgwert.It also has the NCRS logo on it.It says the first seven digits of all 1963 Corvette's VIN begins with "30867S1".My car's VIN reads "30837S1".I assume the book is incorrect on the fourth digit where it has a "6" and I have a "3".Thanks to anyone who can help with the confusion.Doug

      Doug, they both are correct. Six is for a convertible and three is for a Coupe.
