AIM manual UPC C60 sheet C5 part # 3940921. This is the solenoid stop extension that bolts to the carb lever.
I am not having luck finding this part and if I could see a real one in a picture I may resort to having it made.
I searched the archive to no avail.
I would appreciate any info on this.

Thanks Sal, but this is a 69. For 70 the solenoid is different and mounts differently and the stop is part of the lever. He shows the solenoid, DISC, which I have and the bracket. Just need the stop extension.
Thanks for you suggestion.

Ralph, I do not have a picture, but I believe that several GM car lines used this bracket and solenoid. I would look at Cadillac, Olds, and Buick of this vintage. You may be able to find a bracket and/or solenoid
Ralph:
If you are talking about a solonoid that attaches to the carb I don't believe that the '69 350/300 A/C auto had any solonoid at all. My very original '69 doesn't and never did. Even if the JG says it did, I belive it is wrong.

That would make sense as the AIM calls for it on RPO L36, L46 with M20 or M21. The sheet also removes the M40 option. From that you may assume the base engine with C60 did not have one. This car is a very late 69 (12/1/69) and all the AIM mods referenced should have been in place during its build. Have you had points deducted for lack of solenoid?
I may not add and have discussion at time of judging.
Thanks for this info.

Ralph:
No points deducted. I have a second edition judging guide (not the newest edition) and on page 81 it states: "Early 1969 air conditioned cars may not have this solonoid and bracket." My car is an Oct. '68. I don't know if this is further clarified in the 3rd edition. Perhaps late cars had them. I can't say for sure and I'm sure that others who are more knowledgable will chime in.
