I have been reading in my '66 Tech & judging manual about these paint marks. I guess I will call them inspections marks. What kind of paint is used for these ? and where can I obtain it ?

Re: Inspection Marks
Most good hobby stores can provide what you need....at little cost to you. The colors vary in shade from year to year and even month to month. If you attend NCRS events you might enjoy looking at cars with VIN. numbers close to yours, especially "survivor" cars, to see exactly where and what colors were used by the factory workers.- Top

Re: Inspection Marks
I sould have mentioned that many members have probably purchased Quanta's "Chassis Restoration Kit." The used "Kit" may now be sitting in a garage or basement somewhere. This "Kit" has all the paints for your year car. When I did mine, a fellow member, from Arizona no less, sent me the remains of the "Kit" he had purchased.(His VIN. being close to mine.) Some of the paints in the bottles were a bit dry, so I went to a local hobby store and matched the colors. Maybe someone can help you out.- Top
