how good do shimershine parts body judge? i need to put a lower valance and bonding strips on my 70. i have not had any luck on nos stuff. the shimershine stuff sells for half the price so if it will judge the same i want to go that way. how good is it?

I have used quite a few of Jim's panels with no problems. Never had a point deduction on any of the cars.

I can't say how the lower valance and bonding strips are but I checked out one of their 68-72 BB hoods at Carlise last summer and found that the underside or bottom of it was VERY smooth and not at all like my original 69 427 hood in that regard.

I should have checked out their other early C3 parts like fenders and hood surround but at the time I was looking at a 68 BB car that needed a hood so that was all I was interested in.

How do the rest of you guys think their 68-72 BB hoods would judge?

the hood is probably the only part i would not try. fenders and quarters and such would be alot harder to see than the hood. the hood is just out there for everyone to see when its opened.
