This heater may drive us both nuts. Just run a wire from any hot connection to this wire coil were talking about (one end) then from the other end to the motor. To see if it slows down the motor .
The one you make up or try it on the switch coil it self . Hay! call me 530-265-4207

Hi Roy, tried both sides of coil on switch to heater motor and got only the very slow rotatiopn of the motor as expected, must be the switch? These switches are rated 53-57 which tells me maybe the are supposed to be for 12 volt so more juice goes thru them which easily turns the motor in both speeds on 12 volt? So should I send back as defective, I think so and see if they can make sure the low speed have a few points of read on their meter? Thanks again, Brad.

The switch it's self will work for both 12V and 6V but the resister has to be different on each year for 6V or 12V. Call them and make sure you get one for 6V, not 12V. One cant work for both 12V and 6V.
