CASCO L144 vs. L144C element difference?

Does anyone know what difference (if any) there is on an L144 CASCO 12V lighter element vs. the L144C element for C1 corvettes?

Ian, to my knowledge all of the individual lighter elements from Casco officially ended with a 'C' designation. It could be that whatever source is quoting you the PN has 'simplified' its designation from L144C to L144...

I've never seen one without the "C" as Jack points out. Do you have a photo of a L144.?

There's an auction on ebay and they have a Casco advertisement that has 3 NOS lighters with L144 elements (not with corvette bodies though). I asked and they said they have the white ceramic in them, but not the black bakelite at the base. So I'm not sure if they're the real thing. If they are real, and someone on here wins them and not me, I'd be obliged if you'd sell me one :P

Top L=6V and R/12V
Bottom first 53 to 54 6V // then 55 12V //last 56 up 12V
