53-55 Hub-caps which one?

I have a set of NOS hub caps from the 50's but for got which ones were used on what year ( the 55 ones ) which I'll never see me putting back on because I have those wire wheels.

first one is a 53 hole in line with rim grip

caps with grip on both sides of the valve stem hole were used late 53 and up The later GM replacement caps were the sameway and had no indents for spinners to mount in. Phil 8063

Roy-- I do not understand the pictures. I have never seen a gold one(your picture no 2.) My 55 has red stripes. so the ones you have shown must not be 55's or were 55's and not painted the correct color.

Please note that is the back side. Roy is tiring to show the valve stem hole location difference.

ron jones bought a set of nos caps that came out of the les bieri collection. ron may still have them. mike
