    Black 54 Vette VIN

    I have run across ads for at least 10 1954 Corvettes that all claim to be one of the 4 original black ones built in 1954. Does anyone have the actual VIN numbers of the original 4 black 1954 Corvettes?

          i remember two 54's that were apparantly black from the git go. one belonged to gerry pings and the other was walt blacks. don't know vin #'s on either. haven't heard of gerry in over 25 years. walt still lives in mass but don't think he's still into vettes.mike
