Proving once again that no good deed goes unpunished....
After receiving a couple of emails about my original 57 AIM, I realized that my original 57 AIM and the NCRS reproduced copy differ in numerous respects. My original AIM has 2 sheets not found in the NCRS copy, and has 1 sheet that supersedes the sheet in the NCRS copy. The NCRS copy, on the other hand, has several sheets not found in my original AIM, and a number of later dated sheets.
What a train wreck!
Given the incompleteness of the two 57 AIMs, and lacking any other decent alternatives, I decided to create a single MASTER AIM that reflects all known 57 AIM sheets. Given the sharpness of detail in my original AIM, I used my original AIM as the starting point for the MASTER AIM. I used an NCRS AIM sheet if my original sheet was missing. If my original AIM and the NCRS AIM had different versions of the same sheet, I included both sheets in the MASTER AIM. I labeled the earlier version of the sheet as "PRIOR." I labeled the later version of the sheet as "UPDATED." Labels are generally in the upper left hand corner. Thus, for example, you will find two versions of Section E, Sheet 5.00 in the MASTER AIM. The first version is labeled "UPDATED" and the second version is labeled "PRIOR."
The MASTER AIM can be access at the website below.
If your NCRS copy of the 57 AIM works just fine, you can access the missing and updated pages (just 3 pages total) for your NCRS AIM copy at the website below.
If you download and printed my original 57 AIM already, you can access just the missing and updated pages from my website as well. These additional pages (about 20 pages) will complete what you already have.
I understand that the 57 AIM copy sold by Corvette Central might differ from the NCRS copy. For the obvious reasons, I am not going to go there. In fact, right now, I am tempted to convert my original 57 AIM into confetti for the New Year.
