55 Vin Tag

Here is a shot of my vin tag. Is the V considered a part of the vin number for regitration/judging? I have seen others use the V when referring to a 55 but this looks like it was added later. Any one hav a picture of what it should look like?

It passes judging in my book , looks just like mine.Remember 55 was just left over 54's.

Looks can be deciving. A no hit car with the frame done(No rust or patches), glass striped, an engine package that is original looking(LOL). Basically it needs paint and assembly (Already have new guages, cleaned gas tank and redid the interior). And besides its A 55.

That's a good piece to find. Nothing too bad. For the trained eye, it's quite good. Very nice body and just look at that dash!!!!
