    Early 62 Drain Plug

I'm looking for the correct original rear end drain plug for a very early 62. It appers that the original plug is the same as the oil pan plug and has a letter in the center. I've seen a couple with an "A" . Is this an oil pan plug? Did they all have letters or were some plain? Any help appreciated. Rich

    Rich,

I just made myself a note to check my 62 when I for you. It's #483, very original, but rough, getting ready for a full restoration. I'll try to get you a picture also, some time tomorrow.

Rich, I have # 106, a very original car and mine is plain. I have a feeling that many possibilities exist. Regards, Jon
