Question: 1965 Corvette Wiper Arms

What is the purpose of the adjustment screw on the side of the wiper arms?

Jerry,

the screw allows you to make slight adjustments to the wiper arm position on the windshield. If you turn the screw you will notice slight movement in the arm. If the wiper arm needs more adjustment than the screw can offer, you need pull the wiper arm and reposition it on the splines.

Hello; The purpose of the adjustment screws on the sides of the trico wiper arms is to FINE tune them in the rest position so they do not hit each other when turned on. Andy cannizzo
