When I bought my 67 the only clue I was given to its origin was that it came from Georgia. Does anyone from Georgia know if I can search the DMV records using a classic corvette VIN? Thanks.

There is or at least WAS a way to do it last time I tried, but the records are somewhat incomplete.
I haven't done it in well over 10 years, but back then all you had to do was furnish the Ga. DMV with CURRENT proof of ownership and pay a nominal fee...... back then it was 10 bucks or less, and they'll send you the info. I got it on several of my cars, but one of my 69 coupes, that's never been out of the state and had only 2 previous owners didn't show in the records, even though I gave them the tag number from it that was from 1981 along with the VIN number. I'd call DMV and ask the proceedure.
