    C1, C2, C3 seat belt identification?

I have a set of seat belt buckles with this info. on the back:

    Important
    1) wear seat belts at all times
    2) etc
    3) etc
    4) etc
    Irving Air Chute Co. Inc.
    Model IC 8000
    MFG license Pat. 24558810

The top part of the buckle is cast and painted. The bottom is chrome. Can someone identify the year ,Corvette or passenger. They look correct for C1?

I can't positively ID the seat belts you have based upon the information which you provided. However, the Irving Air Chute-manufactured seat belts of model IC-8000 were used on 1964 and early 1965 Corvettes. The instruction tag wording looks to me to be an early 1965 type tag. However, these same, basic belts were likely used on other early 60s-era GM cars, so I can't say, for sure, that the ones you have are Corvette belts.

Joe, this is info. on the bottom (chrome)of the buckle, not the tag on the webbing.
