C1 Driveshaft

Have a driveshaft for a C1 that is 37 1/4" in length and 2 3/4" in diameter. Would anyone be able to confirm that this is the correct measurements for my application. Thanks.

My '62 driveshaft measures 36" long, using outside ends of u-joints welded to shaft, and 2 1/2" wide.

Thank you Larry. It appears the one I have was used in a C1 but it had the shorter in length transmission yoke, which may account for it not being stock. I hope there might be an additional reply to this post to confirm.

The C1 driveshaft should be right at 34-1/2" as measured from centerline-to-centerline of the u-joint yokes.

'55-'62 driveshafts are 34-1/2" center-to-center of the U-joint caps, and 2-1/2" in diameter. If it's a manual transmission, you need the Corvette-only "long" front yoke, which has a shaft length of about 4-3/4".
