1960 Top Tank Radiator

With a build date of approximately 2/17/60, should my top tank radiator be completly flat, or have the 5 supporting ribs?

When was 3500 built? I have a picture showing a flat tank.

Hey Loren,

I think that 3500 is late enough to warrant a ribbed tank. The original radiator that I have from 1960 S/N #2374 that is a ribbed unit.

The picture I refer to is one of Dr Dick Thompson trying make a mechanical fix on the roadside at Sebring - no joy. This car is VIN #35XX
