have been discussing c-1 and 55-64 chevy pass car posi differntial stamp codes with several ncrs members recently and figured it'd be easier to post finders here. The AX stamp code was a 59-64 chevy pass car posi with 3.08 ring and pinion. got the info from the VCCA club . mike

Would a carrier with out a stamp code be a service replacement?

Ray, most likely an over the counter unit if there's no date code stamping. Sometimes you have to work and work, maybe do a pencil tracing and use a high powered magnifying glass to see some of the stamps as they're very faint. Gary....
