    Remembering Mike Hunt

    Mike Hunt was killed in a motorcycle accident in June 2007. He will be missed.

    Mike dedicated himself to researching the 1956 and 1957 Corvette..and put together the most comprehensive data known to exist.

    A couple years ago he sent me the photo below.

    It is Mike standing next to what is known as Project Vera..an off the books Tucker Convertible. Vera was Preston Tuckers wife.

    Mike was a Vietnam veteran and lived life to its fullest.

    So long pal.

      I didn't know he passed away! I well remember his articles in the early years of the NCRS. He did much to help the "cause" on the '56 and 57's. Yes, he will be missed.

          Very sorry to hear this news now as well- I know he was a regular contributor to Robert Cook regarding acquiring 1959 Corvette data.
