'67 L79-Another Rear Trailing Arm Question

I replaced the right side trailing arm assy last year on my '67 L79...it went pretty smooth. Now I am removing the left side trailing arm and have the following two problems:
    1. I can't remove the strut rod at the camber adjustment end near the differential. I removed the camber nut and I can turn the camber bolt but I can't get the camber bolt out to remove the strut rod.

    2. I can't remove the half shaft at the differential end. I loosened the U joint nuts near the differential but I can't get the U bolts off to remove the half shaft. The U bolts are frozen.

    Any advice is greatly appreciated.

    Happy New Year,
    Mark

    Mark...

You only need to remove the shock mount to detach the strut and the half-shaft only needs to be removed at the wheel assembly.
