Pierre, Good to hear from you. The deck lid and the trunk lid on the underside are
painted in the biege. The cut line in the trunk is where the weatherstrip in glued on. The cut line on the deck lid is along the line of holes that are drilled for the stainless threaded attachments on the front edge and where the weatherstrip is glued on the rear edge. I hope this helps. Unfortunately, I do not have any pictures to send.

The photo below shows the '57 interior/exterior color separation line on the top compartment lid, and the one in the link shows the separation in the trunk area.
