53-55 air vents

left is mid 54 to 55 ?? right is 53 to mid 54??? can some one let me know which was used in what year #'s

The ones on the R/S look like the ones my '57 uses, they have the big "V" notch between the mounting ears

The ones on the right are for corvette. 53 for sure. The ones on the right are for passenger car.....right?

Then I would say the short ones are for early C1 53 -57 ??? and the long ones are for later C1's..58-62???? correct?

I was asking at what Corvette number# they changed , the left is mid-54 up and the right 53 to ?mid-54 and which are rare to locate . There are these two different design vents and when did they change is the info I'm asking!

I'm getting a little slow, huh? Am I correct in saying that the 53-mid54 pieces are a rougher casting than the later ones? The longer ones, I've seen and they seem to look smoother and a greenish color.

I prepped a later 54 for judging that was vin 433?, I believe. It had the later ones. Very smooth and greenish.
