    58 ignition switch terminals

Are the 58 and 59 terminals in back different than the 60-62 terminals, will the single three prong work for both switches as well as the single wire terminals, also are the cylider locks the same or different and are the spacer and nut different, threads different? Can these new set ups be keyed so as to use my same key or how does that work? Thanks Brad.

    Brad,

I just checked the 2 wiring diagrams. The 58-60 diagram appears to be identical to the 61-62 diagram for the ignition switch, showing the same color codes for everything including the 3 prong plug. Electrically it appears identical. I think yes, you can probably get into the tumblers with some spare pieces and key both the same, I've done that on these myself. The bezels and nuts look different between years but I think they are the same threads etc. You'll have to experiment a little I'd say, but if you just want the keys to be the same I think that can be done.
