    57 Cast Iron Powerglide Corvette

Could someone tell me what these #'s stand for on a 57 transmission cast iron powerglide = 3708134 GM9

    Thanks!

    Marc-----

GM #3708134 is the CASTING number for a 55-57 Powerglide case of GM PART number 3716692. However, I find that this, particular, case was used only for 6 cylinder passenger cars. The "GM9" simply refers to a pattern number used to make the mold for this, particular, case.

I don't have an answer for you Marc but I do have a question.

Do you have the tail shaft with the 3 threaded holes for the shifter??

My car is a '57 powerglide and I'm looking for one.

      Thanks,
      Mike
