You need to copy any pic I post if your interested because I delete them after a few days or faster if I get no response . I've had two original owners of a 61 having the original spare tire with the same raised letters and a few earlier guys too. Why you found one???

My friend has a 55 Chevy with 1600 miles and the spare was used but one time , he gave me the tire for my 55 Corvette to have as a spare to show Corvette guys. As normal like other parts I have //because some one has never seen one they say no way.( like early 55 headlights which are three different designs) You'll probably get the same reaction where you post the pic..good luck

I love the pics of the original lamps, I have original 50's T3 lamps, 'cause I'm not willing to put the real stuff on there. I drive the car, and I'd hate to have to have a funeral if I chipped or burned one out.

Cant blame you , your's are the rare seal beam ("all glass" like the box say- not a tin bulbs) which once blown no fixing them . I use the original now for many years and they still work great. You rarely ever see them for sale, 55 car guys buy them up when they can , when it comes to Mechanical parts (55) you compete with the Chevy guys. Basically the same engine, Carb, Dist , trans and many other parts.Their into restoring like Corvette guys and bring about the same $$ ( I would say even more). Dave can you send engine area pic's to me ? like to see them.
