1969 WWW Door Limiting Switch Wiring Question

Regarding my '69's WWW door limiting switch wiring. The question I have is that one of the two reddish wires that attach to the plug has been cut. The uncut wire originates from the wiring harness. My question is where does the cut wire originate from ? Thanks

    I'll take a stab....

I don't recognize the abbreviation 'WWW' (common internet for world wide web), so I'll guess that you mean WSW (windshield wiper). The micro switch on the wiper door is there to interrupt power supplied to the wiper motor and keep the motor from starting too early (before the wiper door is fully open to allow the wiper arms to travel without restriction).

As such, the circuit is power from the WSW switch in the cockpit, to the switch, then out of the switch and over to the wiper motor. With that info + your copy of the 1969 wiring diagram in the AIM, you ought to be able to trace and effect repair. BOTH wiring runs to the micro switch lie in the engine compartment/engine wiring harness....
