Does anyone know of an individual or organization that might keep records of such details?
I'm researching the history of my '70 ZR1 Coupe, and have not been able to find much about C3 ZR1's in competition. Granted, there were not that many made, and likely were never thought of as anything but an LT1 Corvette at the time.
I have owner history of this car back to about 1976, Highland, Indiana. The car came equipped with 456 posi, so it could have been a 1/4 mile car, or a hill climber, NCCC event car, or...? Parts of the build sheet(s) are unreadable, so identifying the selling dealer is tough (Dealer #183, Zone ?). The car came equipped with California Evaporative Emissions gear NA9, so it could have been delivered in CA, then taken to the midwest.
Any advice on researching is appreciated.
