info on my 1957, VIN........3686

I was wondering if anyone has any knowledge of my 1957 Corvette with VIN#...3686.

I'm looking for info prior to 1992.
The car was a racer and last possible known location was the State of Washington and/or Oregon. Was eventually salvaged in Oregon and the color was possibly red ( aren't they all).
The car has been in Southern California for sure since 1998.

A few of us think 3545 was the first 4 speed car.

You say 'RACER' ....Like special 684 suspension and brake racer? Or just a 57 that saw race car service.

Thanks Jim,

I'm guessing "race car service".......The car is radio/heater delete; has quick steering; and reinforced frame. It was wrecked and I was told is saw the race track.

Does it have screened backing plates on the brakes?

You say the frame has been reinforced. How?

Any evidance of a roll bar?

Maybe the car was 'drag' raced.

What color was the car when born?
