67 headlight warning lamp update

With the help of members of this board I found the source of my non functioning headlight warning lamp. I traced it to the firewall plug to the fuse box. After removing the plugs (took them both off to inspect and clean with electrical parts cleaner) I found that the pin for this circuit on the fuse box side was partially bent over and pushed in thus no contact. I pulled it out and straightened it with a pliers. Cleaned things up and plugged things back together and the circuit now functions. All I need now is to get a 257 bulb as the one in there was not a flasher. I couldn't find a GE one but one local supplier has a Wagner 257. Are all 257 bulbs regardless of brand flashing bulbs?

Yes, a Wagner 257 will be fine.

I would check and make sure the pins on the Wagner will seat good in the socket. You don't want to have to this job twice.

After you get the 257 bulb in and working, make an appointment to see your chiropractor I did.
