    C2 Convertible top

Is there anybody making good fitting tops out there other than Knoch? I want to get one made of Stayfast material for my 65 resto-mod, but I want it out of Stayfast rather than Vinyl.

Good question, John. I want to replace the white vinyl top on my '67 with Stayfast; the vinyl looks pretty cheap. Was tan ever an option for '67? I'd like to match my saddle interior a little better.

I believe three colors were available for all C2 model years.

      White, Black and Tan.

A tan top would look great with saddle.

        Larry,

Al made the tan Stayfast top that is on my 59, and it looks great. I have been waiting months for them to make me a black one for my 65, and it is becoming obvious that they just don't want to be bothered with non-standard stuff anymore. I guess that I will have try a Robbins top. I am not concerned with correctness on this car, but I would really like a top that fits well. Al's tops have always fit very good, but I just can't get one made!

Coffmancorvette.com They did a great job on my '62 top. I believe they'll do Stayfast also. Good folks

            Larry:

Tan was not an available color for 1967. It was replaced with TEAL (blue) color as an option. The 1967 colors were black, white, and teal.

As you know, the tan top looks very good with a saddle/tan interior. I chose to install it on my Marlboro Maroon/Saddle 1967 convertible instead of the factory white vinyl top.
