    st louis corvette shop

    Bill Lacey or Joe do you remember the name of a Corvette shop off 270 I think around Dorset . it was small ,sold new & used parts , did light work in back & sold a few cars.this was about 1978 to 1980.not Rays. Had a name like Corvette Jones??????? Bill

      There were two shops around 270 and Dorset. I think Corvette Jones was owned by a guy named Dave Vanderhide or Vanderholt? He still may be in the St Louis area? The other shop was West County Corvette the guys name was Jim ???? and I think he has a shop in Union Mo.

          Frumar Fiberglass on Lin-Valle; Frank Frumar retired to FL 15-20 years ago.

                  Frumar was and is in south St.Louis on Lin-Valle, Rays as I recall was off of Old St. Charles Rock Rd..Lacey could confirm. Corvette Jones off of Dorsett as I recall, USA Corvette on Lindbergh? Lacey and I had our cars in that showroom for a brief time..that shop didn't last long. Burkes in Balwin or west county.

                  Sorry brainfade from there.
