hose clamps for 1978

A friend has a 1978 Pace car, and was going to install new radiator hoses and clamps. Since this car is a project and not a time capsule, original hoses and clamps long since replaced.
Question is, were the upper and lower radiator hose clamps the spiral type or tower type? Also, what brand were they originally equipped with ? TIA, Craig

For 1978, I believe that a combination of tower type and worm type were used. For the radiator hoses, I think that the worm type were used. For the heater hoses, I think the tower type were used. I believe that all of the clamps were of Wittek manufacture, including both the tower and worm type.

Worm types were used on both radiator and heater hoses...except early 78's which used tower clamps on heater hoses. Tower clamps also used on water control valve and on preheat hose.
