Re: more help 1967 kick panel srew location
Kieth...
Although they are not the same, maybe they gave you enough of those screws for the radio side panels. Check the catalogue of the company you ordered them from and see if they show different screws for those locations.- Top

Re: more help 1967 kick panel srew location
Keith
The 67 AIM shows there are 6 screws per kickpanel, 3 by the door, 2 to the air vent, and one along the bottom center of the kick panel.
The AIM shows the same part number for all 6 screws, but shows a revision dated 6-17-66 on two of the screws. Some 67's, like mine, had 2 different screws in the top vent position and the bottom center. (I imagine like the 66's).
As I remember the repro screws don't look like the originals. Wonder if anyone has a picture of the original screw heads and washers, part numbers 4751359 and
9417967 from the AIM.

Take a look at this post from the archives
Keith,
There is a picture in this post of the 4 of one type and 2 of the other as I found my original 67 kick panel screws. This seems to be opposite the description of the screw types and washers described in the 67 JG.
However, the 67 AIM shows 6 of one type, so I guess you can't go wrong with the repro screws you have. (If they are the right type )
Having fun with these finer points.

Correction, 67 Kick Panel Screws
Actually my late 67 had all the same Kick Panel screws (6 each side). They looked like this below:
When I redid my original carpets a few years ago, I bought new kick panels and a generic 65-67 set of repro screws. The repro screws came with 10 of one type and 4 of a beveled phillips screw type. Since none of the repros looked like my originals, I just cleaned up the originals and reused them.
Here's what the repro of the main type looked like:
Pretty simple phillips pan head with a flat washer.
Here are pictures of my original driver side kickpanel:
Note the 6 ferrules which go through both the carpet and the backing.
Can you believe that I got dinged at judging with my original screws in place. I think the judge was probably used to the 66's and some 67's where you have a beveled washer phillips screw in the bottom and top center positions.
