Eckler's Corvette Parts made a technical bulletin for 1963-1967 Corvettes that gave detailed instructions on how to remove and replace the front clip. The guy that is doing the body work for my 1961 Corvette said that he cannot find one for the C1 Corvette but has talked to someone from Eckler who believes that one may exist. Does anyone know if this document does exist? If so, can you either sell me a copy of it or direct me to a place where I can obtain it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: 1961 Front End Replacement
I REPLACED MY FRONT END AND I CAN TELL YOU ITS ABAG OF TRICKS.ANY INSRUCTIONS YOU CAN FIND WILL NOT REPLACE EXPERIENCE AND ITS A HUGE UNDERTAKING.I STARTED WITH CHECKING THE FRAME FOR SQUARE.I DID A FRAME OFF SO YOUR YOUR BODY MOUNT RUBBER PIECES ARE SQUASHED AND DISTORTED AND SHOULD BE REPLACED.THE BODY FITS ARE CHECKED SEVERAL TIMES-WINDSHEIELD TO DOOR FIT,FENDER TO DOOR ,HEADLIGHTAND THE REALLY DIFFICULT HOOD TO FENDER AND COWL.EVERY SINGLE FIT MUST BE SCRUTINIZED BECAUSE WITH LIMITED TIME TO GLUE IT ON ANY MISSED DETAIL CAN BOTCH THE JOB.YOU NEED A PRO TO AT LEAST GLUE IT ON BECAUSE THATS WHERE THE TRICKS COME IN. HOPE I HELPED.- Top
